The Front Yard

Nestled under towering sycamore trees at The Garland in North Hollywood is The Front Yard.  Drawing inspiration from the hotel’s natural surroundings, the 4,000-square-foot Southern California bohemian-designed eatery boasts an abundance of glass doors and windows that allow the interior space to seamlessly flow onto the expansive outdoor dining patio – a favorite hangout among locals for al fresco weekend brunch and late night happy hour. Influenced by the Los Angeles food scene, popular dishes include grilled octopus, green garbanzo hummus, a selection of seasonal flatbreads, and valley fried chicken, which is brined, smoked and fried, served with sweet and spicy chili sauce and fluffy house-made buttermilk biscuits.  Guests can enjoy the towering slump stone fireplace, picnic tables, umbrellas and a 12-foot community table, perfect for large groups or parties. The restaurant is open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for breakfast; 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch and 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for dinner. The dress is casual.

Lobby Bar

Guests can lounge in the Lobby Bar with a refreshing drink or enjoy their cocktail by the pool. The Lobby Bar features a unique setting to meet and greet friends, family and associates to start off a wonderful evening. Many of the same dishes featured at The Front Yard are also available to enjoy in the bar. Lunch service begins at 2:00 p.m. and dinner is served from 9:30 p.m.
